Peltandra virginica, commonly known as Arrow Arum or Green Arrow Arum, is a striking native pond marginal plant with large, arrow-shaped leaves that create a bold architectural statement at the water's edge. It produces elegant, white-spathed flowers followed by green berry clusters, adding multi-season interest to your pond. This fully mature plant establishes quickly in shallow water or boggy soil at a depth of 5 to 20cm. Arrow Arum is a superb choice for wildlife ponds, providing shelter for frogs and other pond creatures while its berries attract birds.
