Floating Plant Islands are living, floating gardens for ponds and waterways. They are a perfect habitat for animals, plants, microorganisms, and bacteria, and will provide a very beneficial, natural water improvement in ponds. The Floating Plant Islands absorb nutrients directly from the water, acting as a natural biofilter that reduces algae and improves water clarity without any additional equipment. They are a biotope for waterbirds, insects, fish (which use the dangling roots for spawning), snails, and thousands of small organisms. Simply plant up with commercially available pond plants, float the island on your pond surface, and enjoy a self-sustaining, low-maintenance addition to your water garden that grows more effective with each passing season.
